MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police are investigating a death by a dirt road in southwest Miami-Dade County.
The body was found Wednesday morning near a produce farm in the area of Southwest 360th Street and Southwest 187th Avenue.
Sky 10 was flying overhead as the body was covered by a yellow tarp under a tent.
A resident in the rural area said he heard a loud commotion earlier in the morning and saw police at the scene when he left his home.
A woman who also lives nearby told Local 10 News reporter Christian De La Rosa that she is concerned about her safety and the safety of her children.
"(I'm) very shocked," Deyra Marquez said.
Miami-Dade police said homicide detectives are investigating.
It's unclear whether foul play is suspected.
