Humane Society of Broward County looking to find ‘furever’ homes for Maddy, Hagrid

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Humane Society of Broward County joined Local 10 News Saturday in continuing its search to find loving, permanent homes for pets.

HSBC Vice President of Marketing Cherie Wachter introduced Maddy to Local 10 viewers.

Wachter said Maddy was given to the HSBC by his previous owners who lost their home and wanted to give her a better life.

Milano is a 5-year-old English Bulldog who weighs 52 pounds and could go on a diet to make sure she’s healthy.

Wachter said Maddy is loving, great with kids and loves car rides.

The HSBC also introduced Hagrid the cat to Local 10 News viewers.

She said Hagrid, 7, was given to the HSBC by someone who found him outside.

Hagrid is sociable when he wants to be and fits best in an environment were he will be the only pet.

Wachter said Hagrid is a laid-back, sweet cat and like to be pet.

The HSBC also said they are accepting toy donations for the animals to play with at the shelter.

There are many more dogs, cats, rabbits and furry friends up for adoption at the Humane Society of Broward County.
