MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police identified a victim Friday who they said was shot and killed inside a cosmetic store in northeast Miami-Dade on Wednesday.

Miami-Dade police said they responded to a shooting call around 3:15 p.m. at the multi-use cosmetic business located at 190 NE 199 Street, just west of the Ives Estates area and Interstate 95.

Preliminary information revealed an argument between two men ensued inside the store, according to detectives.

Police said two men in dark-colored clothing entered the business, and one of those men is who shot and killed the victim, who detectives identified Friday as Kingston Satune Jr., of Miami.

A Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesperson said crews also responded to the reported shooting on the second floor of that building and found Satune’s body.

Police said the gunman fled the scene moments after the shooting in a white Mercedes-Benz and remains at large.

Sky 10 cameras also captured a woman talking to police. Moments later, that same woman went running up the stairs to the second floor of the office building where the shooting reportedly occurred and was detained by officers.

The office building has several other businesses inside, including a medical practice and a children’s daycare. All the businesses were open at the time of the shooting.

Venise Danda owns a medical practice in the building and told Local 10 News’ Terrell Forney that some of her staff and patients were stuck inside during the investigation.

The daycare alerted parents about the shooting and asked them to come pick up their children.

“They said there’s an emergency, there’s a shooting and parents need to come pick up their child as soon as possible,” a mother told Local 10 News. “I’m like, ‘Wow -- I hope it’s not my child.’”

People who knew Satune told Local 10 News Thursday that he was a young father and often stayed to himself.

Police said several people were detained as detectives worked to establish their level of involvement.

Anyone with information on the culprits involved is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477. A reward of up to $5,000 is available to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest or arrests.
