Police: 2 teens hospitalized after Lauderhill shooting

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Police are investigating after two teenagers were hospitalized after being shot in Lauderhill Wednesday afternoon.

According to Lauderhill police, the shooting occurred just after 3 p.m. outside of an apartment complex near the 4300 block of Northwest 19th Street.

Upon arrival, authorities said they found two teenagers on a stairwell of the apartment complex who were both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale to receive further treatment, according to police.

Police said that both victims are in stable condition following the incident.

Authorities have not provided any information on the age, gender or identity of both victims.

Police said a motive for the shooting remains unclear and there are no known suspects at this time.
