Pedestrian struck by car in Lauderhill

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Lauderhill early Saturday morning.

The crash was reported just after 6 a.m. near the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Northwest 31st Avenue.

According to Lauderhill police, fire rescue personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The age, gender or status of the patient and driver were not released by authorities.
