Dolphins trade TE Adam Shaheen to Houston

MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins made a minor move on Tuesday night.

The team traded tight end Adam Shaheen to the Houston Texans.

In exchange, the Dolphins received a 2023 sixth-round pick from Houston.

Shaheen played 29 games for the Dolphins with 12 starts.

The Dolphins got Shaheen in a trade with the Bears in July 2020.

The Dolphins will hold joint practices with the Tampa Bay Bucs on Wednesday and Thursday.

Miami’s first preseason game is Saturday at Tampa.
