MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wide receiver Tyreek Hill are the talk of the football world.
On Sunday, Tagovailoa threw for 466 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Dolphins 36-34 win over the Chargers.
His favorite target, Tyreek Hill, had 11 catches for 215 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Head Coach Mike McDaniel was asked on Monday which of Tagovailoa’s throws was his favorite.
The head coach picked Tagovailoa’s 35-yard strike to Hill in the third quarter.
McDaniel said, “It was my favorite because it was more of a team moment.”
McDaniel described the sequence where Tagovailoa threw an interception.
The Dolphins players pinned the Chargers back.
Los Angeles was forced to punt because of the Dolphins defense.
After that, Tagovailoa threw a strike to Hill for the touchdown.
McDaniel added, “I really liked him taking advantage of everything he’s learned and really focused on a game application similar to the preseason rep where you threw an interception and then what? "
Running back Raheem Mostert added on his quarterback, “To see what he’s doing, it’s just amazing.”
