For the second time in his career, Tagovailoa was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
He also received the award last season when the Dolphins beat Baltimore.
Tagovailoa was 28-45 for 466 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The Dolphins quarterback also threw the game-winning touchdown pass, a beautiful touch pass to Tyreek HIll in the fourth quarter.
Hill was also remarkable for the Dolphins in Week 1.
The wide receiver had 11 catches for 215 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Dolphins head to New England to face the Patriots on Sunday Night Football in Week 2.
