The Broward County Office of Medical Examiner and Trauma Services listed Dr. Alex Hsu’s cause of death as COVID-19 and listed the manner of death as natural. Hsu’s sharecare profile states that he was affiliated with Northwest Medical Center. Hsu, a well-respected member of the medical community, was an active medical staff member at Northwest Medical Center from 1995-2017,” a statement from Northwest Medical Center read. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the virus is believed to spread mainly from person to person.
