Miami-Dade police released new details Tuesday, two days after a family of four was found dead inside their apartment unit in northwest Miami-Dade.
The driver of a box truck died on Friday in Miami after crashing into an unmarked police car with two undercover police officers who were injured.

Rodriguez's twins, Luna and Phoenix, were found Friday unresponsive in the back seat of a Honda sedan in the Bronx, according to a news release from the New York Police Department. Rodriguez was at work at a nearby VA hospital, where he is a social worker, his friend Temple Barros told CNN. Rodriguez out on bondThe 39-year-old father paid $50,000 on a $100,000 bond, according to a source with the Bronx Criminal Court Central Booking Clerk's Office. "The (Rodriguez) family is ripped apart," Jackson said, adding that his client has a total of five children and has the support of his family and friends.
OAKLAND PARK, Fla. - The Broward Sheriff's Office is investigating after a 2-year-old boy was found dead Monday after being left inside a van outside an Oakland Park day care center. Deputies responded to the scene at Ceressa's Day Care in the 3100 block of N.W. According to BSO spokeswoman Keyla Concepcion, the child was discovered inside the van by a day care employee. Detectives are interviewing employees at the day care to find out how the child got left behind in the van. Juan Rodriguez said he thought he had dropped the children off at day care before going to work.

In the past 48 hours, his 1-year-old twins died after Rodriguez forgot them in a car for eight hours in temperatures that reached unimaginable levels in a car and were in the mid-80s outside. His attorney, Joey Jackson, told CNN when he went to see his client Saturday, he looked "inconsolable and beside himself." "The (Rodriguez) family is ripped apart," Jackson said. While the twins were in the car, their father was at work at a nearby VA hospital, officials said. They do, however, share mutual friends who described Rodriguez as the "dad of all dads, father of all fathers," Jackson said.
