LAUDERHILL, Fla. - A veteran postal carrier was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday while delivering mail in Lauderhill, authorities said. The armed robbery was reported around noon at an apartment building at 1280 NW 43rd Ave. The postal carrier told Local 10 News reporter Neki Mohan that she gave the thief her mail keys and her cellphone. The worker said the keys contained the master key for many of the apartments in the Lauderhill area. Residents in the buildings affected were told they should monitor their mail and their credit for any irregular activity.

It's all part of Local 10's "My Future My Choice" Big Book Drive. Come out, say hello and donate a book to a child in need. OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – An Opa-locka resident said she is fed up that a sewer outside her home keeps backing up. Sabrina James told Local 10 News that dirty and smelly water surrounds her home at Northwest 132nd Street and 28th Avenue. "It's been like this all weekend," James said. "The water has been like this all weekend -- the water all in my yard, people being splashed by it. Local 10 News reporter Neki Mohan attempted to contact officials with the city of Opa-locka but has yet to hear back.
