Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are renting this Miami Beach mansion for $130k a month
Remember JLo’s hit single back in 2001, “Love Don’t Cost a Thing?” Well, it turns out love certainly costs at least something for the superstar, as she’s renting a waterfront mansion in Miami Beach with her ex, Ben Affleck, for over $100,000 a month.
Miami heartbreak: J-Rod calls off 2-year engagement
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez called off their two-year engagement, according to multiple reports based on anonymous sources. The former slugger proposed to the actor a couple years ago after the celebrity couple started dating in early 2017. The last time Lopez and Rodriguez posted a photo together was last month in the Dominican Republic. The couple was given the nickname, J-Rod, three years ago after they landed on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine. In 2019, Rodriguez said he and Lopez had similar backgrounds and her latest film “Second Act” reflected the ties that drew them together.
AP Explains: Trump seizes on dubious Biden-Ukraine story
The origins of the story also trace back to Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who has repeatedly pushed unfounded claims about Biden and his son, Hunter Biden. Hunter Biden joined the board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma in 2014, around the time his father, then U.S. vice president, was helping conduct the Obama administration’s foreign policy with Ukraine. Hunter Biden himself has not spoken publicly in the last week, including to confirm whether or not the laptop is his. With two weeks until Election Day and polls showing him trailing Biden, Trump appears to be returning to the subject of his opponent’s family to energize his base. Trump said in an interview with Newsmax that the Post had caught Biden “cold” with “serious” allegations.
Biden email episode illustrates risk to Trump from Giuliani
Yet Giuliani says foreign sources didn’t provide the Hunter Biden emails. The Biden campaign and a lawyer for Hunter Biden said they had no record of such a meeting taking place. Derkach in recent months has leaked recordings of calls Biden had as vice president with Ukraine’s then-leader, audio the Biden campaign contends is heavily edited. The probe detailed extensive contacts between the Trump campaign and Russia but did not allege a criminal conspiracy between the two to tip the 2016 election. Some around Trump fear that the case being made against the younger Biden has been weakened because Giuliani has become its face.
Twitter CEO says it was wrong to block links to Biden story
Twitter was wrong to block weblinks to an unverified political story, CEO Jack Dorsey said on Friday, as the company responded to criticism over its handling of the story that had prompted cries of censorship from the right. “Straight blocking of URLs was wrong, and we updated our policy and enforcement to fix,” he tweeted. Dorsey was weighing in after an executive at the social media company announced changes late Thursday to its policy on hacked content following an onslaught of criticism. And instead of blocking links from being shared, tweets will be labeled to provide context, Gadde said. San Francisco-based Twitter initially responded by banning users from sharing links to the article in tweets and direct messages because it violated the company’s policy prohibiting hacked content.

Incredible 88% of adults are 'Zombie Eaters' who eat while watching screens
Associated PressMIAMI - Remember when going out to eat meant spending time and catching up with those close to you? Well, apparently those days are long gone as a new study shows that a whopping (and terrible) 88 percent of adults are "zombie eaters" who watch screens or tech devices while eating. The study commissioned by Pretzel Crisps shows that adults only have five screen-free meals per week and the average person checks their screens at least two times during a meal. Zombie Eating is something most of us can relate to were busy, were productive, and were constantly on the move, says Syreeta Norwood, Senior Brand Manager at Pretzel Crisps. Are implanted microchips wave of future for humans?
Imagine having a microchip implanted into your skin to help with life's functions. The technology was invented by a man named Jowan Osterlund, who said in the New York Post article that hes been approached by intrigued investors around the world. Sweden as a country is trending toward going cashless, with coins and notes making up just 1% of its economy. Of course, there are concerns, mainly about the privacy of someones data once the microchip is inserted. But Osterlund insists it's safe and hopes it will become a global craze in the near future.
