FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A car ended up lodged into a house Sunday morning. Investigators said two vehicles collided near an intersection at 1080 NW 29th Terrace shortly after 11 a.m. One of the cars, a Hyundai Sonata, ended up striking a home. Three people, 2 adults and a small child, were transported to Plantation General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Fire rescue said the child was secured in a car safety seat and did not appear to have injuries, but was transported as a precaution. The house suffered minor damage, according to BSO.

PLANTATION, Fla. - Plantation police said no device was found Monday after a bomb threat was directed at Plantation General Hospital. Sky 10 was overhead where multiple police and fire rescue vehicles could be seen outside the hospital at 401 N.W. A call reportedly came through Crimestoppers advising that a device was placed on the third floor of the hospital. Police said officers checked the hospital, but no suspicious device was found. Authorities are now investigating the source of the threat.

PLANTATION, Fla. – A total of 23 people were injured Saturday during an explosion at a shopping center in Plantation, authorities confirmed. Plantation Fire Department Deputy Chief Joel Gordon said two people suffered serious injuries in the blast that was reported just before 11:30 a.m. at the Market on University shopping center on South University Drive. Full Screen 1 / 7Three patients were taken to Plantation General Hospital, but have since been released. Fire departments from Plantation, Davie, Lauderhill, Coral Springs, as well as Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue all responded to the shopping center after the blast. Just this week on Wednesday, Plantation Fire Rescue confirmed businesses were evacuated after the smell of gas was reported at 214 S. University Drive.
