A man was arrested early Wednesday morning after crashing a stolen Rolls Royce into a Checkers fast food restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, authorities confirmed to Local 10 News.

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – North Miami police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Christmas Eve at a Checkers restaurant. Police released surveillance video of the suspect’s vehicle on Thursday at the Checkers at 13495 NW Seventh Ave. A motive for the shooting remains unclear. Anyone with further information is asked to call the North Miami Police Department at 305-891-8111. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Two women were arrested early Sunday after they beat a manager at a Checkers restaurant in Hollywood because they were unhappy with the wait time, authorities said. According to an arrest report, Elsa Oliva, 24, and Kristina Velez, 31, were waiting in the drive-thru of the Checkers at 6171 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood police said the women first cursed at the manager through the monitor before Oliva walked up to the window, bypassing several vehicles, and began to hit the drive-thru window. Velez then pulled Oliva back out the window and then switched places with her, punching and slapping the manager, authorities said. Police said the victim was taken to the area where the suspects were detained and identified them as the women who beat her.
