Drive-by shooting in Miami-Dade: Teens remain hospitalized in Kendall

Detectives investigate shooting in Goulds

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Two teenage boys remained hospitalized on Sunday at the HCA Florida Kendall Hospital after they suffered gunshot wounds in southern Miami-Dade County.

The two teenage boys, who are 14 and 15 years old, were in critical condition, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Detectives were investigating the drive-by shooting that wounded them at about 3:35 p.m., in Miami-Dade’s Goulds neighborhood.

Police officers responded to the area of Southwest 120 Avenue and 213 Street after a ShotSpotter alert.

Detectives asked anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
