MIAMI ā Dillon Brooks and Desmond Bane scored 21 points each, and the surging Memphis Grizzlies beat the Miami Heat 105-90 Monday night.
Memphis has won five straight without leading scorer Ja Morant, who hurt his left knee against Atlanta on Nov. 26. The Grizzlies have not trailed during their streak.

All five Grizzliesā starters finished in double figures. Steven Adams had 17 points and 16 rebounds, while Tyus Jones and Jaren Jackson scored 14 points each.
āGuys are buying in, guys are wanting to take that next step of being a great team and getting ready for whatās ahead,ā Brooks said. āWe are so unselfish. We respond with relentlessness that a lot of teams donāt have.ā
The Grizzlies opened the game on a 20-6 run and built an 11-point halftime lead. Then they maintained the double-digit advantage throughout the second half.
Miamiās Jimmy Butler returned from a four-game absence because of a bruised tailbone and scored 10 points before leaving for the locker room midway through the third quarter. He didnāt return. Butler favored his back after a hard fall in a missed driving layup early in the first quarter.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said there is no update on Butlerās status.
āHe drew contact and got shoved and landed on his tailbone again,ā Spoelstra said. āThere could not have been a worst scenario for us to start the game. It is a contact sport. Itās an unpredictable thing. Insult to injury, we didnāt get the call on that either.
"But he definitely re-aggravated it. You can tell from that point on he was not his usual self. So weāll re-evaluate him (Tuesday) and see where we are.ā
Memphis scored 27 points off of 23 Miami turnovers and split the season series following a 129-103 home loss on Oct. 30.
āJust an ultra competitive game from our guys,ā Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said. āWe definitely had a bad taste in our mouth from Game 1 against Miami at our place. We came in with the edge weāve been building the last week plus.ā
Tyler Herro had 24 points and Kyle Lowry finished with 17 points for the Heat, who have lost four of five and three straight at home.
āAny time youāre playing from behind, your game changes,ā Herro said. āEspecially early on when we dig ourselves a hole, itās hard to generate good looks and not feel so much pressure on the offensive end. So we just need to be better on both ends of the floor. The last couple games, obviously, hasnāt been our best basketball.ā

The Grizzlies beat a Southeast Division foe for the first time this year after losses to Miami, Washington, Charlotte and Atlanta. ... F Ziaire Williams was helped off the court after spraining his left ankle early in the second quarter and didnāt return. Jenkins had no update on Williamsā status. Williams played three minutes in his return from a three-game absence because of right knee soreness.
Heat: Mondayās game completed the Heatās third home-and-home set against a Western Conference opponent. Miami already has finished its season series against the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets. ... F Markieff Morris (whiplash) participated in warm-ups but missed his 15th consecutive game.
HOME FOR A WHILE
Monday was the start of the Heatās first homestand that goes beyond two games. The early schedule has featured trips of four and five away games. After the Heat complete this three-game home set against Chicago on Saturday, they will begin another four-game trip Dec. 13 in Cleveland.
