Michael Forrest helping FAU basketball contend for NCAA Tournament bid

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Growing up in Lauderhill, FAU Senior Michael Forrest knew that the game he loved could also be his key to a better life.

He says that even though most people who were from the area didn’t get a chance to go to college, he had a chance to get a scholarship playing basketball.

Michael’s attitude and, of course, his game, made him the first recruiting target for Dusty May when he took over as Owls head coach in March of 2018.

The two have built the Owls program to the point where they are serious contenders to make the NCAA tournament for the second time in program history.
