The Tigers knocked off No. 3 national seed Oregon State 4-3 on the road Monday night to win their best-of-three super regional and lock up the last spot in the CWS. No. 2 Stanford also won the deciding game in its home super regional, beating UConn 10-5 to earn a second straight trip to the CWS.

The Hurricanes’ magical run in the NCAA Doubles Championship has ended. 1 Jaeda Daniel and Neil Miller of NC State in the NCAA title game on Saturday afternoon at the Khan Outdoor Sports Complex in Urbana, Ill. Richardson and Achong, who lost to Daniel and Miller, 6-4, in March, then held to secure their first game. The comeback ended there, as Daniel and Miller took the next three games to clinch the NCAA Doubles Championship title game, 6-2, 7-5. During her five-year campaign, she won the 2018 NCAA Doubles Championship at LSU and became the first player to make the NCAA finals at two different schools.

Fifth-year senior Eden Richardson and fourth-year junior Daevenia Achong defeated their third consecutive ranked foe to advance to the NCAA Doubles Championship title game. Richardson and Achong didn’t drop a point in the last game, earning a 6-2 second set victory to reach the NCAA title match. They stayed aggressive, they stayed true to their game and it worked out for them.”With the victory, Miami is the only school to make the NCAA title match in the past three years. Alongside Achong, Eden Richardson will play in the final match of her college career on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
