"Investigators are continuing to interview day care employees and other witnesses to determine the circumstances that led to the death," Concepcion said.

The Broward County Medical Examiner's Office has yet to release the cause of his death. Initially, police said that no explanation of his disappearance was ruled out, including the chance he walked away. The search took place on land, sea and air, and was done by foot and with drones and sonar, Sult said.
