PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Several shootings over the past week, which has been marred by gun violence, took place in the City of Miami.
That includes deadly shootings in Wynwood and Midtown.
Miami’s new police chief is Art Acevedo, who has made headlines for his criticism nationally of inadequate consequences for lawbreakers and unsatisfactory court outcomes.
