The Florida-based cruise line is taking supplies, first responders and Bahamian evacuees in Florida to Grand Bahama Island on Thursday. The cruise line told CNN that the Grand Celebration ship will also be offering the chance for Bahamians to evacuate to Florida free of charge, given they have the proper documentation. "We felt like we had to do this for the people of the Bahamas and the island of Grand Bahama, especially given our history with the island." Royal Caribbean previously brought in supplies to Caribbean areas hit hard by the hurricanes, including after Hurricane Maria hit Puerta Rico.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Deerfield Beach-based Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line sent a ship on a humanitarian mission to Freeport on Thursday. The Grand Celebration departed from the Port of Palm Beach in Riviera Beach to Freeport in Grand Bahama Island. The cruise line was accepting donations at the company's warehouse at 301 Broadway Ave., Bay #7, in Riviera Beach.
