Hunter Biden confirmed the existence of the investigation on Wednesday, saying he learned about it for the first time the previous day. MIDDLETOWN, Delaware - An 18-year-old died trying to save his family from a car submerged in water after it plunged off a gravel road and into a canal in Delaware Sunday morning. The teen was driving his two younger brothers, his girlfriend, and a cousin to a youth football game around 9:41 a.m. ET on Sunday when their car went into the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal, according to CNN affiliate KYW. (CNN) - A Delaware judge ruled that Tesla's board of directors must stand trial to defend chief executive Elon Musk's multibillion dollar pay package. In a February 2018 proxy statement, Tesla's board wrote that it created this pay package to incentivize Musk to grow Tesla's market capitalization. In March 2018, Tesla's shareholders approved Musk's package with about 73% votes in favor, excluding votes from Musk and his family. Tesla valued the pay package at $2.6 billion on its 2018 proxy statement. But if Tesla's market value ballooned, as the payment plan predicted, those stock awards could be worth nearly $56 billion, according to a public filing.

To be a no-kill state, 90 percent of animals must be returned to owners, transferred to other shelters and rescues or adopted, the station said. "When the shelters in a state combine to meet the 90 percent target, that state is considered no-kill for shelter animals. Only Delaware, which has three shelters, compared to 174 in Michigan, also reached the no-kill benchmark last year." According to the MPFA, approximately 120,000 dogs and cats were being euthanized in Michigan shelters every year then.

ELKTON, Maryland (CNN) - A Delaware man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a supervisor and making threats of mass violence at the food distribution warehouse where he worked, Maryland State Police said. Brian Knight, 26, was charged with threat of mass violence, second-degree assault and malicious destruction of property after he was arrested without incident Friday at his home in Newark, Delaware, according to the state police. Troopers were called to the Elkton, Maryland, warehouse on Thursday about "an irate individual ... damaging property and threatening to kill everyone in the building," the state police said in a statement. Witness told police that Knight had assaulted his supervisor, smashed items and damaged property, the statement said. He also allegedly made threats of mass violence before leaving in his car.
