Loren Bymer. Maj. James G. "Ryan" Sartor, 40, was from Teague, Texas, and was assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group. Ryan was a beloved warrior who epitomized the quiet professional," said Col. Brian R. Rauen, the commander of 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). He completed the Special Forces Qualification Course to become a Green Beret in 2005 and deployed to Iraq with the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010, the US Army said. Sartor's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal with three oak leaf clusters, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal and more.

"We feel your pain," Gonzalez said, adding that they were hoping to invite Tongen to have Thanksgiving dinner with them in Iraq this year. The veteran Local 10 News anchor was found dead on Monday morning at his home in Broward County's Southwest Ranches. He received the Associated Press Award and an Emmy Award and was recognized for his community service in South Florida.
