Marlins GM Kim Ng sees start of Spring Training as her Christmas morning
JUPITER, Fla. – Marlins General Manager Kim Ng can’t wait for the start of Spring Training, with pitchers and catchers reporting on Wednesday. Ng said she thought it was a great offseason for the Marlins and that she’s pleased with where the team is this offseason. The GM is happy with the team’s manager. She wants to give the team time to settle into Spring and to get ready. The general manager would not answer if she has a secret twitter account to follow what people are saying about the Marlins.

Marlins announce Spring Training tickets will go on sale beginning next week
JUPITER, Fla. – Baseball season is creeping up on us, and soon Spring Training will be here before we know it. On Monday the Miami Marlins announced that Spring Training tickets will go on sale starting Monday, Feb. 1. Full Spring Training season packages are not available this year due to health and safety protocols. Feb. 1 will be the first day 2020 Roger Dean Stadium season tickets holders can purchase tickets. The first game of Spring Training will be on Feb. 27 when the Marlins host the Cardinals.

Cactus League asks MLB to delay spring training due to COVID
The Cactus League and Arizona community leaders have asked Major League Baseball to delay the start of spring training due to coronavirus concerns just over three weeks before pitchers and catchers are supposed to report. Marlins allow members of 40-man roster to workout in Jupiter
JUPITER The Miami Marlins are taking a step closer to returning to baseball. The team will allow members of the 40-man roster to return to the Spring Training facility in Jupiter, as was first reported by radio host Andy Slater. The team confirmed to Local 10 that players can either throw off the mound of hit in a batting cage. Workouts for the players are optional. Meanwhile, MLBs Players Association and Owners are trying to work out a deal for a possible 2020 season.
