PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – The Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is back in use in the State of Florida as of Sunday morning.

South Florida’s FEMA-run sites resumed administering the one-and-done vaccine after the CDC lifted its suspension, finding the benefits of the single-shot dose outweigh any risk of blood clotting.

Vaccination supply and logistics are part of an unprecedented new normal for Florida Emergency Management.
