Several women who were out just minding their own business Tuesday fell victim to a serial attacker in broad daylight. A Local 10 news crew just happened to be in the area for a different story and spotted the crime. She takes out her phone.Fort Lauderdale police were notified, and the Local 10 crew jotted down the mans license plate as he sped away. At least three women say they were assaulted on the beach Tuesday, with police saying it was all by the same man.

PINECREST, Fla. – Friends, family members and Westminster Christian School students and faculty are mourning a 17-year-old who died in a boat crash on Sunday afternoon off the Florida Keys. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is holding a red and white boat that was involved in a fatal boat crash off the Florida Keys on Sunday. The school’s website listed a varsity lacrosse team player with the same name as the boat operator. The captain of his lacrosse team, Alvarez wore the #6 jersey and played defense. According to the school’s announcement, students are set to return to school on Wednesday, administrators are organizing a special assembly for high school students and faculty, and therapists will be available for small group counseling sessions.

Pierre fought off the attack which led to at least one of the assailants shooting in his direction, hitting him four times. I thought that was it for me," Pierre told Local 10 reporter Andrew Perez in an exclusive interview. That's when Pierre said he ran for it, making it to his vehicle and driving himself to Northwest Medical Center. Broward Sheriff's Office deputies have asked for tips and are looking for a light-colored pickup truck they believe the gunmen used in the incident.

A woman told Local 10 News that the SUV struck the wall to the bedroom of her son, but he was not injured. Local 10 News reporter Andrew Perez went to the scene a short time later and was told that the SUV struck two apartment units and another vehicle. He said it seems the SUV reversed into one unit and broke a window, then accelerated, hitting a passing car, which struck another vehicle. The SUV eventually struck another unit across the street.

LAUDERHILL, Fla. - Lauderhill firefighters extinguished a large blaze Tuesday morning at an apartment building. The incident was reported at The Manors of Inverrary apartment building at 4164 Inverrary Drive. Local 10 News reporter Andrew Perez went to scene and was told by a resident that the entire building had been evacuated. Albelo said a woman who lives in the apartment from where the fire originated told firefighters that she had lit incense before the fire erupted inside her unit. Authorities said one firefighter suffered a heat-related injury and a resident was treated for smoke inhalation.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. - A small plane made an emergency landing Monday morning in a field near Miami Executive Airport, authorities said. The incident was reported shortly after 9:30 a.m. off Southwest 127th Street and 141st Avenue. According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokeswoman Erika Benitez, three people were injured during the landing. She said one person was taken as a trauma alert to Jackson South Medical Center. Another person was also taken to a local hospital and the third victim was treated at the scene, Benitez said.
