A Broward man was arrested for DUI after crashing his car at Coconut Creek High School.

More police are on the campus of one Broward County public school Friday after they were alerted about a threat Thursday night, authorities confirmed.

Coconut Creek High School was placed on a “secure status” Thursday morning due to a “potential threat” that was received via the Fortify FL app, a spokesperson for the school district confirmed.

A 15-year-old student was arrested on the first day of school in Broward County Monday after he brought a gun to school, authorities said.

A member of the security staff at a Broward high school is under investigation for sexual misconduct, district officials confirmed to Local 10 News.

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A 17-year-old twin girl, a student at Coconut Creek High School, is dead after someone shot into the window of the motel where she was inside with family members. BSO now has a 23-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man in custody who they say are responsible for the girl’s death. Cincord, faced a judge telling her that he didn’t know anyone was inside the motel room. He said that the woman, later identified as Patton, tried to reach into the room before he shut the door. Both Cincord and Patton remain behind bars and are behind held without bond.

When Williams regained consciousness in the school clinic, he said he was told he was seriously injured. The Broward County School District released a statement reading, in part: "School administrators and the school resource officer responded immediately to bring the situation under control ... the school continues to work with law enforcement in its ongoing investigation." The identity of the attacker has not been released as he has not been formally charged with a crime.
