Steve Jean Baptiste pulled out a firearm, shot a 28-year-old man several times, and fled in a white 2006 Mercedes-Benz, the Broward Sheriffās Office reported on Friday afternoon. Baptiste, 30, is likely to be armed and dangerous, according to Gerdy St. Louis, a spokeswoman for BSO. He was last seen Sept. 13 in Pompano Beach driving away in the four-door Mercedes-Benz AMG model. Deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue personnel first found Hunter wounded near the Chevron gas station at 390 W. Sample Road.

Broward Sheriffās Office detectives said the man may have shot another driver, who then collapsed on a busy street. Security video of the man, who fled the scene, shows him entering, wandering around the inside of the front of a Publix and then exiting near the 200 block of East Oakland Park Boulevard. Investigators believe the man seen in the video was the same person caught on security video driving a white, full-sized pickup truck fleeing northbound on Northeast Second Avenue after the incident, leaving Oakland Park Boulevard at 6:19 p.m. Nov. 17. Detectives say a man seen in a Publix supermarket surveillance video have had something to do with the death of a driver after a traffic dispute.

Noah Sneed was found dead in the van outside Ceressa's Daycare & Preschool on Northwest 21st Avenue. "Detectives confirmed the toddler had been transported in the van to the facility Monday morning," BSO spokeswoman Keyla Concepcion said. After deputies received the 911 call from the day care about 3:30 p.m., paramedics arrived and pronounced Noah dead. "Investigators are continuing to interview day care employees and other witnesses to determine the circumstances that led to the death," Concepcion said.

Keyla Concepcion, a BSO spokeswoman, released a statement saying the van was parked outside of the Ceressa's Daycare & Preschool at 3140 NW 21st Ave."Detectives confirmed the toddler had been transported in the van to the facility Monday morning," Concepcion said. After BSO received the 911 call about 3:30 p.m., Oakland Park Fire Rescue personnel responded and confirmed Noah was dead. The Broward County Medical Examiner's Office has yet to release the cause of his death. BSO Detective John Curcio is asking anyone with information about Noah's death to call him at 954-321-4210 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
