Florida couple faces charges for child neglect after toddler found locked in small closet
A Florida couple with four children ages two-months to three-years-old is facing child neglect charges, after one child was found locked in a dark closet and the baby was found with severe diaper rash, according to a police report.

Lindor's deal is also by far the largest payout ever from the Mets, surpassing contracts for third baseman David Wright ($138 million), pitchers Jacob deGrom ($137.5 million) and Johan Santana ($137.5 million).
BSO: Woman locks herself on balcony after man forces his way into her apartment
BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A Port St. Lucie man has been arrested after he forced his way into a woman’s apartment in Broward County, authorities said. According to his arrest report, the victim ran to her balcony and held the balcony door closed to keep Stincone from getting to her. Deputies said she called police from her balcony as Stincone locked the front door to her apartment. When authorities arrived, Stincone refused verbal commands to get down on the floor, the arrest report stated. The victim told deputies that she had never seen Stincone before and was scared for her life during the ordeal.

Florida man gets 62 stitches after 250-pound alligator attack
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. – A Port St. Lucie man is recounting the terrifying moments when he was bitten on the leg by an 8-foot alligator while walking his dog. Mark Johnson, 61, said he and his dog, Rex, were walking near a canal Sunday morning around 9:30 a.m. He said he slid and that’s when his foot got stuck in the mud. Millions mull over Dorian evacuation orders
Brock is one of millions of residents in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina who are or will be under mandatory evacuation orders ahead of Hurricane Dorian. Brock is not alone in deciding to ride out the storm in Port St. Lucie, where Dorian may strike Tuesday unless it veers north. Samir Aarass, a fellow Port St. Lucie resident, says he has no choice. Henry McMaster has issued evacuation orders for parts of Jasper County, all of Beaufort County, parts of Colleton County, all of Charleston County, parts of Berkeley County, parts of Dorchester County, parts of Georgetown County and parts of Horry County.
