MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Students from 17 Miami-Dade County public schools couldn’t return to their classrooms on Tuesday after Tropical Storm Eta caused flooding.
Ten of the schools on the list are in areas of Miami Gardens and Hialeah.
Three are in Miami Lakes, and the rest are in Opa-locka, Kendall, Key Biscayne, and Golden Glades.
School administrators will be notifying parents and guardians if the school campuses will reopen on Thursday or if classes will continue only online.
