According to Franklin’s arrest report, he and the victim clocked out of work and followed each other in their vehicles to find a spot to fight at. According to the arrest report, after failing to agree on a location, the victim pulled up alongside Franklin’s car and told him, “F*** this, my break is only 30 minutes. Authorities said the victim got out of the vehicle and tried to get away, but Franklin shot him five to six more times. Once at PepsiCo, multiple employees came outside to help and heard the victim say, “Jimmy shot me,” the arrest report stated.

MEDLEY, Fla. The Town of Medley Police Department is mourning one of their own after an officer drowned in a pond behind a home in Davie over the weekend. We are heartbroken by the loss of one of our own, Officer Dan Garcia, who proudly served our community with integrity, honor, and commitment, the Police Department posted on Twitter. Leone said the officer went under water and did not surface. Leone said Davie police officers responded to the scene around 7:40 p.m. and police divers retrieved Garcia from the water. The Davie Police Department extends our deepest sympathy and prayers to the family of Officer Dan Garcia and the Town of Medley Police Department for their loss, he said.

DORAL, Fla. - Doral residents have complained about the emissions coming from Waste Management's Medley landfill for years. The residents refer to the growing landfill as "Mount Trashmore." Juan Carlos "J.C." Bermudez, the mayor, remembers the landfill was already there when the city was founded in 2003. Now, Doral residents are worried about a plan to bring more garbage to the landfill. Waste Management wants the landfill, which serves a population of about 4.5 million, to be the height of a 30-floor building.
