HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Authorities are investigating a fire that broke out overnight at a church in Hollywood. “We’ll come together and fix this and just praise God for his goodness,” Pastor Justin Severson said. Severson told Local 10 News that he got a call from Hollywood police around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, saying his church, the Church of Jesus Christ, had caught fire. PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A fire that broke out Tuesday morning at a townhouse in Pembroke Pines — and then reignited hours later — is believed to have been caused by an electrical problem, authorities said. Miliedy Nunez said someone driving by spotted the flames and then banged on the windows to alert her and others to get out. “I was all the way in the back where the fire started with my two children sleeping (and) then I heard my brother screaming," Nunez said. CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Coral Springs police have located a woman who was wanted for questioning in a fire at a Dollar Tree, police said on Wednesday. The fire was reported about 12:30 p.m. April 15 at the Dollar Tree at 11530 W. Sample Road. Police said the fire started in aisle 4 of the store, and flames could be seen on surveillance video reaching above the top of the shelves. The woman was captured on surveillance video inside the store. Authorities said the cause of fire remains under investigation, but it appears to be suspicious.
