PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A woman is dead after an early morning accident Saturday. Police said the woman was struck by a white 2018 Ford Mustang as it was pulling out a parking space at an apartment complex. According to police, the 30-year-old driver from Hollywood was turning eastbound on Southwest 18th Street just before 6 a.m. as he was pulling out of the Villas at Pembroke Pines apartments when he hit the pedestrian. The woman was trapped under the car, police said. The driver did remain at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, police said.

DANIA BEACH, Fla. – A motorcyclist who died in a two-vehicle crash Thursday has been identified by Broward Sheriff’s Office. Homicide detectives said that Dante Brovillette, 41, of Pompano Beach, was killed while driving westbound along Griffin Road. As Lubert began to turn his vehicle onto Southwest 33rd Avenue, the driver entered the path of the motorcycle, according to BSO. Eight months after that stress test in March of 2020, Van Düsseldorp was diagnosed with COVID-19. MIRAMAR, Fla. – One person was killed and three others were injured after an SUV crashed Wednesday morning on Interstate 75 in Miramar. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of the highway near Miramar Parkway. According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 1:45 a.m. The SUV then veered to the left, traveled across all southbound lanes and entered the paved median and collided with the concrete barrier wall. All southbound lanes were closed after the accident, but have since reopened.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Investigators were combing through a crime scene in a Hollywood neighborhood and trying to piece together what exactly happened Sunday afternoon that left one man dead. The Hollywood Police Department said that through their investigation they determined that the shooting evolved out of a dispute between neighbors. At 1:24 p.m., officers responded to the 5400 block of Taft Street in reference to a shooting, where they found a man injured from a gunshot wound, according to Hollywood police. A Local 10 News crew was at the scene after the incident and saw a woman being taken out of a home on a gurney. She was then transported to a hospital, but it was unclear what her involvement or injuries were in connection with the shooting.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A 30-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday by US marshals and detectives from the Hollywood Police Department in connection with the fatal shooting of a man that occurred last week. According to authorities, Hollywood police officers responded to a 911 call about the shooting just after 8 p.m. Oct. 20 at an apartment complex in the 6700 block of Johnson Street. Police said the victim was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the parking lot. Police said the suspect, Nikita Darisier, was taken into custody in Oakland Park. Police said she acted alone, but they have not disclosed a possible motive or the relationship between Darisier and the victim.

WESTON, Fla. – A 14-year-old driving an electric golf cart in Weston was pinned underneath after he tried to round a corner and the cart flipped, according to Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A suspected road-rage shooting on I-95 near the border of Broward and Miami-Dade counties has sent a man to the hospital, and the search is on for the suspected shooter, authorities say. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the shooting took place in the express lane south of Hallandale Beach Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon, not far from Ives Dairy Road. A man in his 20s behind the wheel of a gray Ford was traveling southbound when a driver in a 2006 or 2007 black Infiniti M45 with temporary tags fired at him. Authorities say someone inside this black Infiniti M45 fired at a car on I-95 near the Miami-Dade and Broward County border. PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A Pembroke Pines police officer who was struck by a vehicle while directing traffic outside Charles W. Flanagan High School remained hospitalized Tuesday morning. Pembroke Pines police spokeswoman Amanda Conwell said Officer Victoria Lima was struck by a vehicle Monday morning in the school zone along Taft Street. Lima, a 15-year-veteran of the Pembroke Pines Police Department, was in uniform and wearing a yellow traffic vest. Conwell said Lima's injuries were not life-threatening. Lima remained under the care of medical staff at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.

WEST PARK, Fla. - A man was rushed to the hospital with apparent gunshot wounds Monday afternoon. Broward Sheriff's Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting at SW 22nd Street between 46th and 48th avenues just after noon in West Park. A passenger was also hurt in the crash but authorities said that man's injuries were minor. The pilot, Christopher Kirk, was flown to Memorial Regional Hospital after the crash. According to Velar, Kirk has several injuries and underwent surgery on Monday. Several agencies rushed out to rescue the men Saturday, not long after they had taken off from North Perry Airport.

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. - A Tuesday night shooting in Broward County's town of Pembroke Park left two people dead and two injured, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office. Veda Coleman-Wright, a BSO spokesperson, said a man who worked as a mechanic died at the scene of the shooting and the other person died in the hospital. Detectives believe there was a confrontation at an auto shop at 2401 SW 31st Ave., east of West Park and west of Hallandale Beach. Someone drove the three others shot to the Broward Sheriff's Office substation on Hallandale Beach Boulevard at Southwest 32nd Avenue in Pembroke Park, Coleman-Wright said. PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A tow truck hit a Broward County public bus leaving several injured Saturday in Pembroke Park. The crash happened on the westbound lanes of Hallandale Beach Boulevard near the Barack Obama Boulevard intersection. Fire Rescue treated nine injured including the bus driver who suffered head and back injuries. Paramedics took three to Aventura Hospital and Medical Center and six to Memorial Regional Hospital.
