According to Officer Ernesto Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Miami Beach Police Department, Santiesteban alleged that he was the victim of a robbery. He received medical attention at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, police said.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are investigating a double shooting that occurred Tuesday morning. The shooting was reported in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and 74th Street. Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said an argument ensued between the victims and another person before they were fired at. He said the man was pronounced dead at the scene by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. Zabaleta confirmed that a man was detained for questioning, however it’s unclear whether he was actually involved in the shooting.

KENDALL, Fla. – One person was killed and another injured after a shooting at a BB&T bank branch in Kendall. Miami-Dade police said it happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Southwest 137th Avenue near Kendall Drive. According to investigators, the victim was at the drive-thru ATM when he was approached by a man. The man who had begun the confrontation was shot and died at the scene. “There were shots fired, resulting in the subject deceased on the scene,” said Miami-Dade Police Det.
Man, woman shot inside vehicle in northeast Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are investigating a shooting that left a man and a woman injured. The shooting occurred Friday morning in the area of Northeast 159th Street and Sixth Avenue, near Oak Grove Park. A Local 10 News crew was at the scene as police were taking a close look at a white SUV that had its doors open. Detective Alvaro Zabaleta, who is also a spokesman for the police department, said a man and a woman were shot while riding inside a vehicle. He said both were transported to Aventura Hospital & Medical Center in stable condition.
